This policy explains how CraftWork, a software and artificial-intelligence studio based in Chișinău, Republic of Moldova, collects and processes personal data when you visit craftwork.md or contact us. It is a template document provided for guidance only and should be reviewed by a qualified lawyer before publication so that it matches your actual operations and applicable law.

We care about your privacy and process personal data only for the purposes described below, in line with the principles of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the laws of the Republic of Moldova.

What data we collect

We collect only the data needed to respond to requests and to keep the site running:

  • Contact form data: name, email address, company (optional) and the content of your message.
  • Server logs: IP address, browser type, pages visited and time of visit, generated automatically for security and diagnostics.
  • Cookies and analytics: technical identifiers and aggregated statistics about how the site is used.

Purposes of processing

  • To respond to questions and requests for proposals sent through the form.
  • To keep the site secure, stable and functioning correctly.
  • To understand, in aggregate, how the site is used and to improve it.

Legal basis

Processing is based on your consent (for analytics cookies and for submitting the form), on our legitimate interest (site security and service improvement) and, where relevant, on pre-contractual steps taken at your request.

Retention period

Messages received through the form are kept for as long as needed to manage our relationship with you, typically up to 24 months after the last contact, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Server logs are kept for a short period, usually under 12 months.

Third parties and transfers

We rely on service providers that act as data processors and may process data outside the Republic of Moldova under appropriate safeguards:

  • Hosting and delivery of the site (for example Vercel).
  • Email services for receiving and handling messages.
  • Web analytics tools, in aggregated form.

Your rights

  • The right to access the data we hold about you.
  • The right to rectify inaccurate data.
  • The right to erasure (the right to be forgotten).
  • The right to data portability.
  • The right to object to processing or to withdraw consent at any time.
